  • Given UMG’s large and diverse catalog, roadmap planning, and refinement was critical and constant.

Led the Product effort through a full visual redesign and platform rebuild, with focus on managing design agency through all phases, from selection, discovery phase, concept, visual design, functional specification, and internal team build-out.

  • Drove overall product roadmap strategy, definition, and execution.

  • Features included all content ingestion, the user experience including artist and album pages, playlisting tools, logging and reporting of all streaming media, and Ad-based monetization.

  • Continued with MSM to create and iterate on Video, media players, search/discovery improvements, consumer and artist tools, and ad-based monetization opportunities.

  • Defined concept and pitched the initial concept and business model to major labels, launched within ~4 months of deals.

  • Built and evolved the site with new products and site optimizations for users, artists, and advertisers.
